Working with Alex
When booking in for a custom piece with Alex the first step is to meet with her in person for a consultation appointment at E.T.O. Tattoo Studio, or in cases where clients are looking to travel to get work done this can be done via Zoom. The consultation is typically 15-30 minutes long and clients are welcome to meet for multiple consultation appointments before their piece is taken to the drawing phase.
Alex is booked into 2025 for larger projects (Sleeves/full backs); but has recently expanded her working hours to take on small to medium size work in the early evenings (typically 4 onwards). This times lot is also great for those who wish to complete their projects in smaller intervals. If you are not sure what size your piece falls into, just reach out by email with a description and we will get back to you. etotattoos@gmail.com
At the consultation clients are encouraged to bring visual references, consider where and how large you’d like your tattoo to be, budget, and have considered what elements are going to appear in the piece- it is also okay if you do not have a clear vision of what you’d like done. Sometimes multiple consults are needed to really nail down a plan for a piece and a first meeting can be more about exploring possible ideas rather than one concrete idea.
At your consultation please request a quote or discuss a design budget with your artist; this will cover drawing time, tattoo time, and all supplies necessary to complete your piece. Based off this Alex will also be able to estimate the length of your appointment, and be able to advise what you need to bring for the day to be comfortable.
A deposit will be taken approximately one month from the scheduled date of the tattoo; please read more about our cancellation policy on the bookings page.
Please note that Alex is severely allergic to the active ingredients in numbing cream; please do not use it or anything containing Lidocaine or Prilocaine.
